Michael joined First Choice Health in 2022 after graduating with distinction from the University of Melbourne’s Doctor of Physiotherapy program. Before this, he completed his Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours from Monash University.
Michael has an interest in the assessment and management of the spine and sporting related injuries and uses a combination of exercise therapy and manual techniques (like joint mobilisation or soft tissue massage) to help a patient reach their goals. He implements individualised care based on the latest in evidence-based treatment to help patients return to what is important to them. Ultimately, Michael aims to involve patients in their long-term care, providing them with the necessary tools for self-management.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys playing basketball and training at the gym with his friends, trying different dining experiences within Melbourne, and supporting the forever struggling Carlton Football Club.
