Lee is one of the founding directors of First Choice Health and has been working in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne for 10 years after graduating from La Trobe University with an honours degree in Physiotherapy. In 2011, Lee’s Thesis on musculoskeletal pain experiences in Cystic Fibrosis patients was published in the international journal “Physiotherapy Research International” and has been cited in further research in the area.
Lee has extensive experience in treating sporting injuries, including fracture and post-operative patients, has worked in a variety of physiotherapy settings including; public and private hospitals and private practice settings and has expertise in diagnosing and treating orthopaedic (both pre and post operative), spinal injuries (neck and back) and chronic pain. Having played state level basketball over many seasons, Lee has a keen interest in the management of acute and chronic sporting injuries in both elite and amateur levels.
Lee’s work extends outside of the clinic where he works closely with a number of orthopaedic surgeons at Waverley Private Hospital and local sporting clubs. Lee is extremely passionate about his work, achieving the best possible results with his patients and seeing patients get back to their previous level of function in the quickest possible time using a variety of different treatment modalities. Lee has completed further training in Mckenzies treatment for the neck and lower back as well as dry needling and pilates.
Away from work, Lee enjoys spending time with his family, travel, participating and watching sport, in particular the AFL and continuing to further his professional development and learning.
